Jim McCann, CEO of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM®,
opened his first retail store in 1976 and successfully
built his own chain of 14 flower shops in the New York
metropolitan area. In 1986, he acquired the 1-800-FLOWERS®
number and continued to grow his business under the
1-800-FLOWERS® name. Today, 1-800-FLOWERS.COM®
has a well-known web site (www.1800flowers.com), and
maintains strategic online relationships with a number
of online services, including America Online, Microsoft
Network (MSN), and Yahoo!.
